Raymondville Family Dentistry celebrated “Give Kids a Smile Day” this past Tuesday.
The American Dental Association began GKAS Day in 2003 as a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved, lower income children. Each year, approximately 350,000 children benefit from more than 1,500 events, with the efforts of 40,000 or more volunteers.
RFD had a good turn out with about 30 children and parents attending this year’s event. Overall the kids had a blast with Cilla the clown, story-time, coloring contest and lots of goodies in their bags.
One child wanted to know when the next party will be.
